HI gardeners and rhubarb killers!

The wife has got herself a rose and yup, you guessed, it’s my job to keep it alive.

What I would like to know is when do I prune, how much do I prune and do I cut dead flowers off?

Is there anything else I need to know?

Oh and thank the gods the forums are actually working today, when I popped in the other day it took forever to do anything.

Prune to keep it open in the centre and deadhead it as the flowers die off.
can prune hard but for starters just light pruning to keep the shape is good.

was it purchased in a pot, or in one of those tube looking thingos?

dead head as often as you can. Prune when it really starts dropping its leaves. feed it when the little pink buds appear. water it well in the summer.

Was purchased in a pot, Have re-potted it into a bigger pot though.

I’ll chop the flower heads off this weekend and give it a feed since it has a few new shoots.
