Happy fathers day all you dads, I hope it’s a goodie.

I hope you dads get told every day though by your kids how wonderful you are and how great it is to have you in their lives.

The Man got dad’s day yesterday. He’s in the prisons today. He commented that he got more loot for father’s day than his birthday. Might have something to do with me still studying around his birthday and not really having the energy to think of anyone else.

He did score rather well. A couple of CDs of his fav band were on special.

Tomorrow’s the big day. Off to Perth. Just went and stocked up on winter shirts LOL. I seem to be reduced to two or three shirts. Not sure which ones I’m “missing” but just don’t seem to have as many as I need. I usually buy Big W or elcheapos; but stopped off at a fashion shop with winter stuff on sale. Picked up $90 worth of shirts for $30! And much nicer fabric and fit than the el-cheapo stuff.

Got my boarding passes printed, my puzzle book and nibbles bought. Just have to pack. And finish the sleeve hems of my grad dress LOL.

Have a great time SueBk, hope the weather’s kind to you and you all enjoy yourselves. Not forgetting the main purpose of your trip of course!

Typical – we’ve got a week of rain forecast in Perth!!! Mind you, if the forecast just says showers (not storms), then 85% of the time the forecast gets changed to fine pretty quickly. This year anyway.
