I might get around to some notes in this thread…including some of my references and potential useful info sources
1. Useful book: Penny Woodward (2000) published by Hyland House
“Asian Herbs & Vegetables How to identify, grow and use them in Australia” This cost me $26.95 from Dymocks in August 2004 -I expect it would cost more now
2. Perhaps my favourite book: Jenny Allen (2002)*Paradise In Your Garden – Smart Permaculture Design*
Published by New Holland. I got my copy in 2003 and this a new edition might have different title…just love it! Feel she needs chooks too but inspirational nonetheless. What prompted this thread?

3.Magazine: Sub-tropical gardening (or similar name) – don’t want to lose post while I check details. I regularly get it from library and may end up subscribing…
4. Posssible resource: http://oldvegiepatch1972.googlepages.com/subtropic_garden.html – about to have a squizz – turned up in a search for “purple-podded shelling peas Australia” I noticed that it links to Eden Seeds whose catalogue I have ordered.
5. Green Harvest – mailorder mainly but often have a presence at Garden expos
