I think it can be very difficult to “Prove” something by statistics, but it is very easy to convince/confuse people by the mis-use of statistics

I’ve noticed by observation not statistics that it seems a lot of middle aged to elderly people are the ones still smoking, perhaps with it such an engrained habit its harder for them to stop, they’ve probably smoked a good percentage of their lives.
