a friend of someones’ (I just know her) is a “Reiki master” (she signs her emails with this title. She gets all of her information from site like “Alternative therapies.com” and “madeupbullshit.net’ I do send her links to .edu sites, but she always disputes that they are onesided and biased…

I believe it should have been known considering that animals are well known to harbour diseases just like humans

its why we don’t just accept blood form hiv infected people

even plague doctors knew that disease could be passed on from patient to doctor

Well, I’m quite glad I got the Salk, and later the Sabin oral vaccines. I didn’t get polio. I knew people who did. It was awful. Perhaps Wookie is sufficiently young to have not experienced the widespread devastation this awful disease caused.
