Thanks Lucky, I’ll add that to my wishlist grin

Here’s another gardenny Christmas idea – it comes from the book ‘An Hour in the Garden’ by Meredith What’s-Her-Name.

Get a plain twig wreath, and stick on air plants (you can get green ones and reddish ones) with hot melt glue. I just ordered three wreaths from Etsy to do this – can’t wait for them to arrive :) I’ve never had a Christmas wreath before, so I will give two away and keep one for myself.

Meredith Kirton.

I went to an Open Garden talk a couple of weeks ago, and she was the talk-er.

Not my thing really, all about form and line and colour in the garden. Doesn’t really apply to whacking great swathes of vegies :P

Much cooler here today.

Clasps hands and looks towards the heavens.

Thank you God or whoever gave us a reprieve.

i think a “ho-mi” gardening tool is a perfect christmas present for a gardener. it’s unusual and very practical.
