Has anyone worked out Human Energy Consumption globally per hour?
how does it differ from year to year?
will there be a peak?

What do you mean by human energy?

I hope so.

you can get the annual figures for coal, oil and gas from wiki, and divide them by 8760

calculating energy consumption of wood might be more complicated, the part for heating there might be gestimations around, the aspect to do with clearing trees etc likely’d be more complicated.

Energy humans use externally
the species itself would a net total human energy per human body per hour that would be a different figure
7 billion people x the average energy each body uses?

thanks for those links
from the other link

Total Energy Consumption = Body weight (Kg) × 4 KJ × 24 hours/day / 4.18 kJ
its difficult to get a sense of World energy consumption of external fuels and energy
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_energy_consumption
all the terra watt figures are mind boggling

Worse than that, they are terra fying

Eventually, it is inevitable.
Unless we include those humans who join Stephen Hawking in going off planet in 1000 years time.
There will be many peaks. One such occurred in 2009.
There will also be a global maximum but I have no idea when that would be. It could be ten years from now, it could be ten million years from now.
