yes – very astute – how ever your problem is to guess how many multiples of one ? – or multiples of two since you now know it is an even number.

How many were there?

Are they green tree frogs, Pepe? As a kid sometimes we would find ones looking like that in puddles everywhere after rain :)

around about 30, is my guess… some are lined up along the bottom side of the tray in the first picture and this makes it hard to count…

the possible water frogs here (north of adelaide) are
- brown tree frog
- pobblebonk (eastern banjo)
- spotted grass frog
- common froglet
the pictured ones are mainly pobblebonks and spotted grass – i think?
interestingly they have eyes but no mouth – they absorb their tails to survive while developing a mouth – metamorphosis is weird.
oh – 74 frogs in the skimmer basket – not sure how many hundreds – even thousands – are in the pool.

What a lovely lot of frogs, Pepe! You must have a very healthy ecosystem there – well done! :)

water is the main ingredient – a swimming pool is a varitable taddy heaven over winter – if left unchlorinated.
