A dry birthday this end (too much housework to do and by the time I decided I might as well have a drink this evening, it was too cold to go and buy anything (-4 tonight))

I’ll make up for it tomorrow but won’t overdo it ‘cos I’m keeping myself nice for the birthday lunch on Saturday. But I anticipate a boozy weekend :)

I have a song like that, but it’s not one I wrote myself. It is, however, a strange choice for one to use when nervous, being a Greek song that I don’t understand. It is one that my uncle liked to play in his car (and he, not being Greek either, wouldn’t have understood the lyrics either). A few years ago, I heard it in a movie, where there was some kind of festivity and the Greek characters we dancing to it.

The lyrics I remember go something like this:
