brilliant invention if it works
must work a little like the fly traps that encourage the flies into a container, they see the light then can never get out
if it were longer and you encouraged the cattle in on a regular basis and maybe lightly brushed the cows as they walked through it I wonder if it would be 100 percent effective?

Without flies we’d be struggling through piles of shit.
Apart from dung beetles, the best way to reduce flies is to stop eating meat.

But does it also catch zooplankton? The fly trap I use does.
