Subject: Cannabis Research in Australia

I know there is some research on Cannabis going on in Australia in a few places now

one article I read talked about using Cannabis but did not name the strain or plant

participating users where reporting that they were getting paranoid, but the article did not say how much THC was in the cannabis

nor did the article say if the people getting paranoid were first time users, who tend to get paranoid or long term users

the article did say how much percentage of THC or CBD was in the cannabis, and did not name which strain was used

Cannabis Sativa or Cannabis Indica

its been said the sativa is higher in THC than Cannabis Indica which has a higher amount of CBD

both plants comes from the one ancestry plant

If you were to do research wouldn’t you start with low amounts of thc say at 1 percent and then work up to higher amounts say 20 percent?

and see how where abouts do newbies who are susceptible to paranoia to see THC levels make them paranoid

1,2,3,4,5 up to 25 percent etc

similar tests could be done with people who have been on cannabis for much longer so higher amounts of THC/ CBD could be used, say between 20 to 60 percent

Do another similar test using CBD to see how low amounts working upwards to higher amounts effects different people

Then there is testing for all the medical conditions people have reported benefits from, epileptic fits, MS, autism and others

Does anyone know of tests been done here?

there are around 85 known Cannabinoids

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cannabinoid

so there could be 85 tests done on each cannabinoid

As I’ve stated before. CBD, CBN content are increased as THC is degraded.

CBD is the main isolated compound used in medical research.
THC is the psychoactive component. This may be increased by artificial conditions such as pumping a growing room with extra CO2. Young people and inexperienced users will always suffer greater paranoia with such artificially induced THC levels.

One needs to realise the significance of hybridization in breeding. One needs to study autoflowering and the term SuperAuto.

Plants that produce high levels of THC express genes that code for the enzyme THCA synthase. This enzyme converts CBG into THCA, which becomes THC when heated. These plants are typically considered indica.

On the other hand, some plants express genes that code for the enzyme CBDA synthase. This enzyme converts CBG into CBDA, the precursor of CBD, instead. These plants are typically considered sativa.

Based on this explanation, indica plants have high THC:CBD ratios and sativa plants have high CBD:THC ratios.

As a number of media outlets noted this week, however, there is a surprising body of evidence about smoking pot that could be worth revisiting: marijuana has been found, in decades of pulmonary research, to be much safer to smoke than tobacco, and even has been linked to decreasing the risk of developing lung cancer.

for those interested

I use cannabis in a vaporizer, one like this

http://www.vaporseller.com/easy-vape-v5-digital-desktop-vaporizers.html

When I smoke pipes or bongs or joints I tend to cough a lot

When I use the vaporizer with a rollie filter/ cigarette filter I don’t cough at all

I don’t mix cannabis with cigarette tobacco, I don’t smoke cigarettes .

If I cant get rollie filters, I will buy a pack of cigarettes and chop the filters off and use those, failing that I can use cotton wool, for some extra filtering I can add a water filter but I find I don’t need it.

Im not sure about the no combustion bit

But I can report the cannabis is nearly twice as strong as a pipe or bong

It burns at 235 degrees C

Looks like you could also give yourself an enema with that device CN, which presumably would compliment your lifestyle.

Thanks, Ill keep it mind,

Monument to an enema, a 360-kilogram (790 lb) brass syringe bulb held aloft by three angels, at the “Mashuk” spa in the settlement of Inozemtsevo in Russia. It is the only known monument to the enema.

the things you learn,

the only known monument to the enema
