Why do you think protein has anything to do with it?

If they get the protein from eating meat, then yes, because the meat is usually alive before it is consumed and needs to be caught and killed somehow.

Only the fish would feel your aggression.

Dunno if eating protein makes an animal more aggressive, carnivores (apart from scavengers) pretty well have to be an in your face animal but I am not sure aggression is the right word.
Strongly territorial animals might be described as aggressive but again more a product of nature not personality.
What you are thinking of as aggression probably has nothing to do with protein.

That is also what I suggested.

Is that pure protein or does it, like meat, contain testosterone?
It’s been proved that eating sugar makes an animal less aggressive. Other mood-changing factors would include phytosteroids and fasting.
Alcohol can make humans aggressive.

Alcohol brings us to the point where we can’t control our aggression.

Imagine two pet dogs, initially similar. Suppose an experiment is performed in which one of them continues to be feed meat, while the other is fed broccoli.
The first dog will remain friendly and playful, while the second will gradually become snarly and aggressive as starvation kicks in, and may even attack humans in sheer desperation.
Alicia Silverstone’s dogs are fed a vegan diet. To my knowledge, they’ve never killed anyone.

I been told aquarium fish’ behaviour becomes more aggressive if feed protein, rather than algae, for example.
I wonder if that is true?

On the other hand the second will soon become totally passive.

Not so. I used to give my labrador a diet of carrots and broccoli mostly.

“Mostly” is the key term that differentiates your labrador’s diet from that in dog 2 in the thought experiment. A dog will not survive indefinitely on broccoli alone.
“A dog will not survive indefinitely on broccoli alone.”
Mmm. Arguable.
Certainly the human companion will struggle (for breath) living with a labrador on broccoli only.
I am not familiar with the kind of dogs that she owns but I would guess they are small lap dogs and even in a heightened state of aggression would be unable to kill most people. However, they are probably quite snappy…

Feed your kids broccoli and you’ll get that problem.
I am hoping they would not literally kill and eat me.
