What a shame he just missed out on having a batting average of 100 or greater.

statistically, his performances are so far removed from those of every other player of the game that is simply amazing. Now I’m not sure exactly how old this histogram is, but I’m sure there hasn’t been any material change.

What a shame he just missed out on having a batting average of 100 or greater.

If he had made just four runs in his final test he would have averaged 100; but instead he was dismissed for duck (of which he made seven across his career).

And he wasn’t a particularly wealthy man.
He was comfortable with a modest home.
Modern day Australian captains are richer than most weather girls.

Michael Bevan is similar in that his ODI average is a higher than all others, but not buy so much as the Don’s…

DB’s average is 5 standard deviations above the mean

Seems that is the case, yes. In which case it begs the question, in what way did they tamper with the pitch?

Also why did the Aussie females fare better if there were tampered with pitches?
