So what do we think now? Interesting features include what look like older, faded spots, a deep hole (that black dot to the left of the central splodge) and various straight linear fractures.

To my mind it is still looking more like a “splatter” rather than something you’d see from hydrothermal activity, for instance.

Looks more like a subsidence than an impact zone.

even the cracks could have been formed by slope failure
