http://www.ebay.com/itm/Riverstone-100-Gal-Portable-Composting-Sack-/231272793219?hash=item35d8eec483

Measuring 30“W x 38“H, this composting sack has a capacity over 100 gallons. It is made from a rot-proof outer material that allows both air and moisture to enter the sack. The inner liner helps to keep the moisture inside the sack, encouraging composting. The design also helps to keep odor down. The dark black color attracts heat which helps to speed up the composting and decomposition process. Best of all, the simple design is highly portable, meaning homeowners can use and re-use the sack in any location. Product Features: Holds over 100 gallons of composting material Made from rot-proof material for years use Custom pull cord locking system is easy to use

Is anything like this available in Australia?

The composting bins Ive looked at are too large

or is there some material I could use that is similar and make one myself

Think you might have moisture problems, as hessian is notoriously difficult to wet and to keep the moisture in due to evaporation. Might be easier to get some thick polybags and punch a few drainage and aeration holes in them.

To get a good hot compost running, you really need to have volume. Roughly 1m^3 is the commonly accepted minimum size for compost.

If you’ve got less material or you’re looking at composting food scraps, it may be worth looking at a Bokashi bucket.
