thanks VG….i worked out that the standard/commerical/plastic waterer works ok if placed upon several bricks etc..so the chickens scratching around doesn’t foul the water. i.e. about a foot off the ground.

its ok been thing and came up with a few ideas with this could put a small float valve in it and make it a automatic feeder could even make one for a dog or cat. but cut the lid off. would even work with one of theses type of bottles we have one of these i will see if i can make something out of it will have to ask dad.

that’s pretty much the design i copied for my duck feeder. it can hold 2 large bags of feed. just need to modify the lip a little on it so the ducks don’t spill so much grain.
