hers something from a journalist

funny thing – he says they very thing as me about how to defeat ISIS – but what does know – he only travelled there , spoke to ISIS and survived. unfortunately he is a poor fool with no “military training” or “political understanding”

“To create real problems for ISIS, the West should do several things: stop the delivery of weapons, ammunition and money from the Gulf monarchies and close the Turkish border used to transit new fighters to ISIS, Todenhofer said, recalling how easy it was to cross the Syrian-Turkish border.”

Fighting ISIS needs an intelligent strategy, Todenhofer said.

A serious campaign against their supply chains will certainly make it very hard for them to maintain their current numbers.

The Russians are bombing secularist rebels in the south. The US are attacking ISIS.

We never said they shouldn’t do it. We said they were doing it but that bombing supply lines along wasn’t a cure-all

I have never denied cutting off supply lines, it is military 101, I have always asked you the “how” and you have always responded with “you just…” whilst ignoring any political constraints. Russia is free to ignore political constraints and they are happy to bomb anything that doesnt support Assad especially now that one of their civilian airliners has been hit, and France has taken the gloves off. In other words the political situation has changed.

No i haven’t. I recently read that there are currently no IS controlled road links between Raqqa Syria and Mosul Iraq. This has not lead to IS being unable to readily defend Mosul. You have to realise that road links, especially when they are so easily repaired are not that important.
