Subject: HTML5 players

I have subscribed to a number of Great Courses lecture series. (www.thegreatcourses.com.au) The format I selected was CD, so that I could listen to them in the car. As part of the deal, they are also available for streaming on my ipad, which I have done in the past.

I have just tried to access a couple of my courses today on my ipad but I am unable to do so. I get the message “We’re sorry. HTML5 players are not currently enabled for this account.”

I don’t know what that means. Is this something I can fix on my device, or do I need to contact Great Courses?

Thanks
PDJ

Which iPad are you using and is it fully updated to iOS 9?

Sounds like a web page issue. It could also be your browser not being enabled.

You could try a HTML5 app from the app store.

What browser are you using? What program does the message come from? How are you trying to access the information?

Its via a dedicated Great Courses app. I think it should contain the necessary player.
Thanks for suggestions, will contact company.
