I’ve been watching a hell of a lot of this recently. There’s a few messages from the dead in this series. I’ve been doing it backwards – watched season 11, then 10, then 9 …. currently getting through season 5.

Not sure if this is what you mean, but here’s something I posted on a paranormal group on facebook recently:

————-

I don’t think I’ve posted this in here before. About 6 months ago, my (at-the-time-) fiance and I were sitting on our bed in the bedroom, watching TV. We had one of our cats (Gizmo) sitting in between us. At one point, I heard a cat make an angry loud meow sound. I looked at Gizmo then my fiance and said “What’s up with Gizmo?” and she said “That wasn’t him.” I said “But the sound of the cat came from where he is” and she said “The sound came from over your side.” Then there started a really creepy feeling in the room, and the feeling that we had to get the hell out of there as quickly as possible, like someone was really angry at us. We quickly left the room and closed the door behind us. A few hours later we went back in there and the feeling had gone and everything was okay. No idea what happened, but that spirit cat was hellishly angry at us.

She would regularly see spirits in that room and in the lounge room near the front door. One night, again in the bedroom, we were watching TV while sitting on the bed, and she screamed in pain. I asked what had happened and she said she had felt like someone had stabbed her in the bottom of her foot with a large needle. She regularly felt physical things happening to her in that room. I never saw anything in either of those rooms, but I did see shadows out the corner of my eye while in the garage at the rear of the backyard.

The other thing that had happened in that house, she had a 4-year-old daughter who at the time was also living in the house with us. One day she was in the kitchen looking up at the light in the ceiling with a scared look. We asked her what was wrong, and she said the bad people were trying to scare her, and she could see black slime dripping down from the light. Neither myself nor my fiance could see it, but she told her daughter to yell at the spirits to go away, which she did, and the black slime disappeared.

I’m not with them anymore, but I believe they have recently moved out of the house, and I’m hoping that now they’re living in a friendlier location.

I think if you had a strange cat in your bedroom, either in physical or spirit form, Gizmo would soon let you know.

I would’ve thought that, but with 3 other cats, 3 dogs and me also in the house, he was used to being around other animals. But she assures me it definitely wasn’t Gizmo that made the meow.

A strange cat to another cat will get all the warning bells ringing very loudly.

We had been living in the house for about 3-4 months at the time. He could’ve been used to the “spirit cat” by that time.

The simplest explanation was that it was in fact Gizmo.

If Gizmo was the only cat in the room then it was Gizmo. Or maybe the cat-like sound came from outside the room or even from the Tv. Maybe it was a squeaky bed noise. Or maybe you both imagined it. Ghosts only exist in the minds of men.

She said it wasn’t Gizmo, and I’d believe her. With everything else going on in that property, I’m not surprised this happened anyway.

The sound was very clear, like it was from between our two pillows, not from outside the room, or at the tv on the far wall (about 3-4 metres away).

Wasn’t a squeaky bed now, it was an angry ‘meow’.

We didn’t both imagine it, because I remember Gizmo reacting to it as well. And it’s unusual for two people to imagine the same sound at the same time and believe it was audible.

This is one of those things that people can’t believe happened unless you experienced it yourself. That’s the category it falls into.

Her and I were there, with Gizmo. And it wasn’t him that made the sound, yet we all heard it, and then that “Get the hell out” feeling that followed, like something evil or really angry had entered the room.

My ex with my son is a bitch. My most recent ex, who I had the ‘meow’ experience with, is my ex-fiance. She’s a fantastic amazing person and I couldn’t say anything bad about her (now, that I’m not angry at her anymore after she kicked me out).

I mean basically you seem to be rejecting the obvious, likely explanation, for some reason.

In a room containing a known cat, the explanation for a meow sound being heard would be:

1) the known cat (extremely likely)

2) some unknown cat in earshoot (less likely)

3) something else whose sound could be conceivably mistaken for a cat: a curlew, some kinds of frogmouth, a creaking door.

If we had audio or video evidence we could determine which of these it was but because we don’t, we’ll probably never know. This doesn’t make it terribly mysterious.
