Do Galaxies have any form of magnetic field?
Do Galaxies have any form of magnetic field?
yes.

Yeah, sure, why not?
Yes, they reckon all the spiral galaxies have a magnetic field.
Could it be possible that the universe itself has a magnetic field?

It is believed so…….
Black holes, dark matter and magnetic fields have influence over the whole galaxy.
Could there be other influences across the whole galaxy?

Gravity exerts universal influence. Most energy forms exert a more local influence. All light that is emitted becomes a quotient of the universal magnetic field.

That should read ‘the universal electromagnetic field’ to be more accurate.
Not only do galaxies have magnetic fields, they have magnetic fields that are strong enough to bend the paths of cosmic rays from extragalactic sources so much that it is impossible to determine their true origin.
To enlarge on that a bit. Cosmic rays from outside the Milky Way are extremely energetic charged particles (electrons, protons and ions). The most energetic of these carry more energy than any particle inside the large hadron collider. Even so, the magnetic fields of the Milky Way are sufficiently strong that they bend the paths of these charged particles so much that they appear to approach the Earth from a random direction. Attempts are always being made to find the points of origin of the most powerful extragalactic cosmic rays, but with no success so far.
