Several times. I found that jealousy disappears when I realise that the person I’m jealous of has a tougher life than I have.

I make a personal distinction between jealousy and envy. Jealousy is negative and destructive. Envy ‘should’ be conscientious, humorous and constructive. The former is a reflex and the latter a deliberate decision and practice.
