We had the forecast of maybe up to 40 mms of rain earlier in the week. Well last night came and went….. not a bluddy drop fell.

7mm up here in the dry nth….our fault though ….we bought a new bed and lounge suite first lounge in 32 years so shocked the weather gods :)

A tree came down in the street my dad lives in and it made the news. Wasn’t his house or caravan it fell on………. think it fell on one of those.

We got rain earlier in the week. Hmmm, Wednesday rained all day. Yesterday was hot and sticky and forecast a shower or storm in the evening – nothing. Today is, therefore, hotter and stickier. They’re saying rain tomorrow and most of next week.

That’s odd, I made a post about our rain here and it disappeared. So did the rain .
We had thunder and heavy rain for about 15 mins, drizzle after that and I think that’s stopped now.
it’s just windy (again) in melbourne. storms expected. we’ll see if any rain accompanies the plant breaker.

I’m hoping it rains here this afternoon, although there was nothing predicted this morning. It is flipping steamy and revolting.
The poor Girl is playing cricket this afternoon :-( I just put a drink bottle of lemon water in the freezer to take with me when I pick her up this afternoon. Just off now to organise a face washer or two in the freezer too. Last Friday arvo she was as red as a beet and obviously a bit heat stressed; and the weather today is nastier.

It dropped out of the sky like a bucket on Fri night…the boys will be cleaning the gutters today…
Last night on the way back from Moranbah, between Mbah and Clermont, the car (think NIssan Patrol wagon fully loaded and carrying 4 passengers, all over 80 kg) nearly was tipped over by gust of wind…I thought we had hit a ‘roo…then the rain came down…couldn’t see the next guidepost, couldn’t see the line markings…thankfully there was 2 cars in front (both with hazard lights going) so we had something to follow…had our hazards on to for Justin (Case)…he may have been following…Sonny Jim (1st year P Plater) is getting heaps of diverse driving experiences…
No damage that I know of yet…rained all the way back to Emerald and we are waiting for the driveway to dry out… and to think I spent all last week giving the yard it’s first summer soak…my feet were spot-on (arthritis flaring up = rain to come) and they are still aching…
its been spitting here all day so far started spitting about 10 just as soon as me and dad start mowing.
I think we had a foot or so last night.
Seems to happen every couple of days.

Nope, that must have been someone else. Our rain all came from the south and headed on north. You must have done something to scare it away Lucky? I doubt it’ll get to PM though. Too many places in between that need a drop or two of water.

The news just said heaps more rain coming. There’s a severe weather warning for south of Bris tonight.
