Great Golf Courses of the World

Golfs a great game I’m sure many of us here enjoy from time to time.

Being outdoors amongst nature, you just can’t beat it

Golf courses, should be more of them

I have to respectfully disagree. Being on a manicured, planned out, tree felling golf course is as far from being out in ‘nature’ as one can get while still being outdoors.

Still, I have a good wii golf rating.

The main reason that there seem to be a lot of tree stripped golf courses, is because of housing development rules.

A certain amount of a new development has to be preserved for greenery/public open space and developing this as a golf course fits these rules.

Hence my comment about housing instead…but you knew that didn’t you?

Yes, golf must be considered elitist by the left enviro movement. A sport of the rich capitalist.

Perhaps reef aquarium keeping is as well. I mean your typical tree hugging dole bludger couldn’t afford either. And its pointless getting angry & lecturing fish, & no one can hear your teeth grinding on a fairway

many golf courses are going to reclaimed water due to the lack of risk of graze injuries.
as opposed to football/cricket/rugby ovals, grass tennis courts, bowling greens (their restrictions are mre to do with proximity to designated eating areas) school ovals, etc..

apart from the higher level courses, fairways aren’t stripped of nature, they are cleared of trees and shortly mown. and that is just the fairway and green, the rough is left as is, trees, waterways and all. the fairways are a low percentage of total area on a golf course

replace it with a K-Rain from Bunnings?

if so, keep an eye on the performance of the other sprinklers in the line, mind they don’t drop too much

that and gear drive issues

Ok. If the professionals do it too i shouldn’t be too hard on myself. Not easy on the wallet though, those gear drive models.

what brand did you hit?
replace it with a K-Rain from Bunnings?

Unkown. Definitely was not the K Rain I bought. There was another brand that looked identical to the sort I had while the K-Rain looked different. So I bought the other brand. But all the packaging and the docket is in the bin already.

But thanks, I’ll keep an eye on it.

could be Holman (gardena/husqvarner, all the same company)

Check the size of the nozzle in your other sprinklers and use a similar size in the new one
