I’m pretty sure that Homo Sapiens is the largest species (on Earth) where most of the population spends most of its life inside a box.

I used to know a chap from CSIRO who grew full size rainforest trees inside a box. To measure the transpiration rates, nutrient uptake and gas uptake.

I’m sure there are plenty of greenhouses that have large plants in them. At least one aquarium holds a whale shark.

The greenhouse in Glasgow is impressive, it’s seriously big and they grow jungles in there.
