China Plans Space Telescope That Will Dock With Their Space Station

China has plans to build a new space telescope which should outperform Hubble. According to the Chinese English Language Daily, the new telescope will be similar to Hubble, but will have a field of view that is 300 times larger. The new telescope, which has not been named yet, will have the ability to dock with China’s modular space station, the Tiangong.

“the new telescope will be similar to Hubble, but will have a field of view that is 300 times larger” is a perfect description of the new US space telescope Wide Field Infrared Survey Telescope (WFIRST), approved for construction this year.

Have any of you seen the documentary Telescope, included the Hubble, the upcoming James Webb telescope and went throught the history of the telescope from creation to current day.

Not on tv, but a downloaded documentary I watched a few weeks ago.
If you Google telescope documentary it says it was on the Discovery and Science channel and it looks like Youtube has it
