NASA will launch James Webb Space Telescope in 2018 followed by WFIRST which will launch later by mid-2020

NASA’s Agency Program Management Council has given the go ahead for development of the Wide Field Infrared Survey Telescope (WFIRST) that will enable NASA and astronomers get a wider view of the Universe.

The documentary on the James Webb telescope was interesting, impressive piece of technology, hopefully it launches and deploys without any problems.
