Boiling up cloths for med size plum puds, 2 a day for a week.
Ice up small square fruit cakes and add xmassy deccys. For orders, donations and gift giving. Cook another large square fruit cake for the same treatment next week.

Oh I have time when things are cooking , then I run outside and do a garden check and feed the chooks and collect eggs.
I’m well organised and eldest girl has been helping, but I’ve had to knock back some orders I just don’t have time to do.
The forums super slow atm taking several minutes to load each post, so I’m going to choof off and start by taking youngest girl to the station.

I’m making headway with the cooking…. just made a batch of pancake mixture for our breakfast. Baked custard cooking away in the over too.
Water my sole basil plant…right that’s the garden taken care of…
Office work …payday today for our hardworking team so I’d better do that and get it right!

As little as I can get away with. I am very very tired. Stupid anemia is playing up. Sleep like a log all night and wake up feeling exhausted. Have to stop drinking coffee again for a while at least. (Coffee inhibits the body’s ability to absorb iron.)
I’m not going anywhere. Authorities have asked us to limit all travel to the necessities only today. I want to go to Spotlight, but I don’t know what’s been flooded/damaged on the way. Here at the moment is wonderful blue skies and sun. I could spend a bit of time pottering about the garden, but it’s very damp and I don’t want to disturb too much.
I did remove all the hail damaged tomatoes yesterday :-(( A whole cluster near the top of the plant had to be removed. The stem was damaged as well as several of the fruit.
My main plan – think I might surf for a bit and then watch some B5. Maybe read a book. Maybe take a nanna nap later. Oh, and I guess I should do some dishes. We had a dinner guest last night; a friend who’s been away several months; so nothing got done ‘cause we were too busy nattering away.

Todays plans shot down the sink so I can sit here and do the dirty dishes and spray the antys with windex.
Rain is nice to get but not the way I just had it.
well., I went to work in a citrus orchard around 7 am… I started out well but the rain came scudding in.. and where I was situated is in a natural watershed. Ok up the top where it is rocky and sandy but terrible situation to get out out the farm if the soil is wet due to having to navigate along and between two large and deep channels and all that subsoil tossed up on top.. yum.. great stuff to play in when wet… not. Only needs a sideways slide and you’d better have your swimming togs on, ‘cause you won’t get your car back.
So I came home. I’ll do,some work here because all I had here was 1 mm. :(

Well I’ve done enough housework for one day…………..
Going to the movies this arvo to see “Brideshead Revisited” I’m amazed I’ll catch it, usually by the time I get around to seeing a movie I fancy it’s long gone some where else!
Time to do a few more dishes and then some more cooking.
