We haven’t had a “Guess What This Is?” thread for ages. If nothing else, it can be a place for photos of weird stuff.
Just look at the photo and attempt a guess. No cheating, Boris and sibeen!

it is a boxing day sale outfit.
Reconstructed pre-chain-mail battle armour?

I think Sanders will have to bugger off now and go back to doing what he does best, frying chicken.

Is it a ferris wheel?
You guys don’t get out very often, do you?
it’s an hors d’oeuvre suit.
So far Boris and Tamb are vaguely close to an answer. Very vaguely.

No and if things like that are outside I’ll stay in thanks.
Meanwhile….PWM has lost the plot.

Unfair. We don’t have porcupines in Oz so my echidna guess is culturally correct.
That’s true
Actually , Boris is correct, but I disqualified him for underhanded sneaky stuff.

being smart, logical and clever isn’t sneaky and underhand. it’s being awesome.

Trunp wins all of todays 5 states.

Then I saw a beast rising up out of the sea. It had seven heads and ten horns, with ten crowns on its horns. And written on each head were names, Mexican names.

Nice work there
It’s just a couple of prickly customers.
Reminds me of an early type of parachute that was used by the inventor to jump from the Eiffel Tower. I believe his body made a deep impression.
instead of one, let’s try a few and see if you can pick at least one?

bump
I recon it looks like a bunch of pricks.
Collingwood supporters, a bunch of pricks.
Imagine being the person who tests the bear suit, not a job I could bare for very long

1) Some sort of fruit, but not one that I’ve seen before. Do orchids have fruit?
2) Ice lake, with reflection of the sun, bubbles within the ice and view through to dark patches below. Colour from algae. Three worlds.
3) As number 1. If it’s a leaf then it’s the weirdest leaf I’ve ever seen.
4) Water droplets on rock, but what is the other stuff? Would guess some sort of fungi, but it could be some sort of powders.
What’s this photo showing?

an elephants foot.

She is dead, but I am pretty sure they cremated her…..so, nope.
It’s not an elephant, but that was sort of close.

It’s smaller than a Ferris wheel, but bigger than a bread box.

Looks like some animal has trodden in poop.
Looks a bit like a dinosaur.

Dinosaurs went extinct around the time of Methuselah. Get your facts straight.

Baby camel, maybe.
An orphaned rhino, 6 days old. Makhosi’s feet haven’t hardened yet – there’s some swelling and splinters. Here he is with his friends, Charlie. An orphaned baby hippo.

I was going say rhino but for some reason it came out as “camel”.
They are at Thula Thula Rhino Orphanage. The rhino bub is a female, not male.
“ A very very big thank you for all the incredible messages of support and concern for the little calves – it means a lot.
The little hippo, Charlie and newly arrived rhino calf, Makhosi have become inseparable in the funniest of friendships. The company has definitely helped them both (although I wish they would sleep a little more, Makhosi is demanding food every hour and half to two hours through the night )
Charlie is gaining weight and strength; proudly shows of his tiny teeth which are just cutting through with big ‘hippo’ mouth. The bottom tusks have cut first and the upper ones are starting to show as little white bumps under the gum. Like any teething baby, he is chewing on everything and drooling.
Makhosi is doing really well considering that she didn’t suckle at all from the mother and thus did not receive colostrum (the first milk that contains vital immunoglobins and nutrients). It took a few days to pass the meconium and it is taking a while for her gut to adapt with cramps and colic. For such a tiny tot, she has huge attitude, demanding food with a high pitched squeal and thumping my legs when the bottle finishes. Her feet are still very soft and tender -we are treating them to remove splinters , prevent infection and encourage hardening. Makhosi is still not out of the woods and will need to be watched and managed carefully.”
