the boiling causes dirt and dust to move

Aah, umm, err!!! Wasn’t this assumed when they measured it’s air pressure?

So you wouldn’t get a decent cup of tea or coffee if you boiled water on the surface of Mars

Nah really, we did. That aspect was already known.

I suppose what wasn’t obvious was that small amounts of dirty water flowing down a dusty surface while boiling would leave the same degree of visual evidence as larger amounts flowing without boiling.

Not quite what I was implying. Anyhoo, for liquid water under mars pressure to evaporate would have to be closer to boiling than earth’s evaporation. Not really arguing a specific point. I hadn’t delved into the mars debates very far and do appreciate the authenticity of this observation as distinguished from former hypothesis.
