Subject: running memory check

memory checking feels like it’s part of consciousness/self awareness, moment to moment, of tasks, the efficiency of memory.

it’s some indicator too of fatigue status (vigilance capacity)

there’s some monologue commentary regards it, though there seems a sense for it and maybe’s done in mentalese mostly.

What do you mean by “memory check”?

I sometimes forget simple things I ought to know, and end up Googling them while always half-expecting my memory will catch up just before Google.
