The latest received wisdom is that when you are laying down memories or storing new information time seems to go by slowly.
When we are young a day is a long time and a year is an eternity.
But no matter what your age the first time you take a trip to a new destination it’s always a long trip but the more times you travel that road the shorter the trip seems to take.
It all makes sense now.

until you do it everyday then it becomes long and tedious again. or it might be that it is the work aspect that makes it seem so.

wakefulness’n consciousness’re overrated I think
here the better way to pass time is by sleepin’
I just drop in for a look at this world of the wakeful
everythin’ I does is to make day’n night rhyme
‘em matters temporal ol’ seek not to be an expert
they abound’n for those wizards have no time
busy bunch’s in TV were in me school too’s what
wizards of temporal controls tweak it ya mind
