Plants really do respond to the way we touch them, scientists reveal

It’s something that plant lovers have long suspected, but now Australian scientists have found evidence that plants really can feel when we’re touching them.
Not only that, but different sensations trigger a cascade of physiological and genetic changes, depending on the stimulation the plants are receiving, whether it’s a few drops of rain, or a little soft pat, which is probably the coolest thing we’ve heard all week.

These plants are dead and rather crushed. Robbers was the correct word.
If you are talking about the way the plant responds to touch, you should refer to charas making. There is a vast difference

They rely on the removal of surface resin to stimulate more resin production. But people here can take your word for it that the gentle art of horticulture was invented by you.

Nepal is a very minor economy so the likelihood of finding dabblers in the trade who don’t know what they are doing is high. The generational ones know that handling the plant properly maximises output in the long term.

Did you visit Nepal in the 70s/80s rb? Pretty likely the trade was being over-harvested by smugglers back then.

And a tourist is pretty well anyone who hasn’t grown up in a place by my reckoning. Either that or they have been taken in by the locals and shown around the less known sites.

The difference between Charas and Hashish is that Hashish is made from a dead weed plant and Charas is made from a live one.

Charas is the purest form of cannabis resin. It is coaxed from living plants by the most caring gentle touch.
