Anyone have a favourite sword collection?
I prefer daggers myself. More concealable… just the look on their faces is worth the extra hassle.

Well there was always something very hashashin about daggers for my taste.
If this were forged from meteorite steel it would be perfect…..

Were I to custom order a Katana blade I would have the spine forged with a high cobalt steel alloy and that would be wrapped in titanium blade. Am not a metallurgist but that sounds to me like a good balance between flexibility and hard edge?

I’d probably want a nano-carbon skin over the top of all that off the top of my head.

It’s a pity monofilament blades aren’t real they’d be a great cutting edge

Won’t be far away I’m betting. I’ve always wanted to forge the perfect Katana just as a personal thing.

Best sword movie I have seen by far is called Zatoichi. Killer Iaijutsu/Iaido styles from a master. If you haven’t seen it you MUST!

Titanium Katana would deflect bullets nicely. Just saying……

The european style is an excellent place to start. Ingrains a foot placement method that is good to have as muscle memory for the Japanese styles.

I’m ok with a sword considering the minimal practice I’ve spent on it. My brother was in a local LARP and wipes me out simply by always knowing where his feet are going to be.
