Yes especially if nothing changes and you see things getting worse not better.
I’d guess that some people might be happier having someone else to blame, rather than accepting problems as their own fault, or the fault of no-one in particular, but in general I agree that grudges are probably not good for personal happiness.

Chicken or egg?
Unhappy people tend to hold grudges. Grudges give people an excuse to remain unhappy.
The person/people that have grudges held against them don’t often know and if they do, rarely care, choosing to move on with their lives and labeling the grudge holder an eejit. Not their problem.
When is a grudge justified, what if one person severely and deliberately messes up another person life and thinks its amusing. You do have to get on with your life but payback might be quite satisfying.
a grudge is where a kiwi keeps his car..

The best payback is to live well. Holding a grudge is not conducive to this.

Liked that one. ;)
There are some people, like my ex-wife and my friendly neighbourhood shrink, who can’t live without holding a grudge. If they resolve one grudge by, for instance death, they will create another one out of thin air to replace it.

I don’t hold grudges but in saying that a person should find some actions to always be unacceptable and I think not becoming numb to unacceptable is okay.
