Put links to Space Poetry here

Here is one I did myself, its a five verse one, I might add a bit more to it, I wrote it last night, so its a new one, still needs editing etc

Spaceship by CrazyNeutrino

A mind controlled spaceship,
quantum entanglement, through a cyborg chip.
A spaceship that runs on quantum particles
that pop in and out of existence.

Leaves the solar system behind,
Then leaves the Milky Way Galaxy,
Spaceship cruzes between Galaxy Groups,
Leaves the Local Cluster, moves between Clusters,

Spaceship leaves the Supercluster,
moves beween Superclusters
Spaceship Cruzes between Filaments,
Spaceship Cruzes the Void, leaves the Void,

Spaceship travels around the universe
to come back to where it started
to go forward so fast in spacetime,
Spaceship leaves the Universe.

Consciousness embedded in a chip,
Connects directly to the fabric of space time itself
Connects to Multiverses
Leaves the Multiverse

Interesting, give it some thought.

In the meantime.

Just remember that you’re standing on a planet that’s evolving
And revolving at nine hundred miles an hour,
That’s orbiting at nineteen miles a second, so it’s reckoned,
A sun that is the source of all our power.
The sun and you and me and all the stars that we can see
Are moving at a million miles a day
In an outer spiral arm, at forty thousand miles an hour,
Of the galaxy we call the ‘Milky Way’.
Our galaxy itself contains a hundred billion stars.
It’s a hundred thousand light years side to side.
It bulges in the middle, sixteen thousand light years thick,
But out by us, it’s just three thousand light years wide.
We’re thirty thousand light years from galactic central point.
We go ‘round every two hundred million years,
And our galaxy is only one of millions of billions
In this amazing and expanding universe.

The universe itself keeps on expanding and expanding
In all of the directions it can whizz
As fast as it can go, at the speed of light, you know,
Twelve million miles a minute, and that’s the fastest speed there is.
So remember, when you’re feeling very small and insecure,
How amazingly unlikely is your birth,
And pray that there’s intelligent life somewhere up in space,
‘Cause there’s bugger all down here on Earth.

OK, you asked for it.

Understanding space.
by mollwollfumble

The fly in my room understands space
Every decisecond it changes direction
And flies away from walls and towards the centre
It’s pseudorandom path
Describes a footsize box about
The 3-D centroid of the room

The neutrino in my room understands space
Born a billion years ago in supernova
It travelled past 400 galaxies to get here
Its pace
Is only slightly slower than the speed of light
It lives within the voids within the atoms

The man in my room understands space
He knows the quantum foam in a way
The fly and the neutrino never can
He kens that space is metastable so
That far beyond the limit of the visible horizon
It must explode with unimaginable force

It’s sort of space poetry.

Space Lord. Lots of energy when it starts cranking.

Oh freddled gruntbuggly, Thy micturations are to me, As plurdled gabbleblotchits, On a lurgid bee, That mordiously hath blurted out, Its earted jurtles, Into a rancid festering confectious organ squealer. Now the jurpling slayjid agrocrustles, Are slurping hagrilly up the axlegrurts, And living glupules frart and slipulate, Like jowling meated liverslime, Groop, I implore thee, my foonting turling dromes, And hooptiously drangle me, With crinkly bindlewurdles, Or else I shall rend thee in the gobberwarts with my blurglecruncheon, See if I don’t.

I’m afraid that after a few years of Colin Leslie Dean all other poetry is but a pale imitation.
