I saw one today, quite distinct. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen one before. (You can also see a 22 degree halo in this picture). The colours of a circumzenithal arc are purer than those of a rainbow.

Yes true but the resolution you can get with digital is pretty good these day. Not that I’m demanding you obtain a better phone.

A friend and I once conceived of a little club. He liked the name I came up with for it which was ‘Circle Eccentric Consortium’. This thread remind me of that for some reason….
