Thanks, I think I read that book, but it was a long time ago.

About 10% of deaths are during sleep (or recorded as such).

Obv, some of these are drug or alcohol related, carbon monoxide suicide, or people suffering sudden trauma such as crashing an truck while sleepdriving but leaving those aside…

Major causes are stroke, malignant cardiac arrhythmia, pulmonary embolism, obstructive sleep apnea.
