The antimatter mystery: Annihilation and a universe that shouldn’t exist

Antimatter isn’t just a great plot device for sci-fi stories. It’s at the heart of one of the great mysteries in modern physics — why our universe has stuff in it.

Why don’t they mention the Kaon?

Kaons include the strange quark, and that makes them not too heavy, but also asymmetric with respect to matter and antimatter. There’s no need to invoke to bottom quark or hypothetical heavy neutrinos to get matter-antimatter asymmetry.

I don’t think kaons can explain the matter-antimatter asymmetry. Because a kaon is a meson, it has a particle and an antiparticle. Therefore, it ultimately decays into an equal amount of matter and antimatter.

Has this scenario ever been put forward?

At BB temperatures gravity is highly repulsive making annihilation impossible.

At the point that lithium is introduced to nuclear synthesis, recessional velocities have created a highly electromagnetic disparity which earth’s out throught the lithium which results in points of collapse that continue as primordial BH’s.

Years ago someone here mentioned that some young guy envisaged a BB point where rapid cooling would present itself. I can see this happening with a disparity between hydrogen and helium recessional velocities but introducing electrical discharge with lithium seems to provide a vehicle for rapid cooling that collapses as primordial BH’s.

Until there is flash cooling(under this scenario) no annihilation occurs. Any annihilation that does occur during the flash cooling is contained by BH collapse……
