the new Ga host is Stephen Ryan he’s starts in Jan. i don’t really like him much i reckon they should have put one of the old team members as it.

hard to know how good he’ll be until he starts – you might end out liking him. No one is going to be as good as Pete though.

but John was being the presenter then, and he was just the bloke who’s garden was being visited. Might be better when he is doing his own presenting.

I have a big blub on Stephen Ryan in my garden clubs newsletter. Darned if I’m going to type it all out though , too full lol.. I mentioned he was going to be the new presenter a couple weeks back.

Born in melb.. own and runs Dicksonia Rare plants at Mt Macedon , it burnt to the ground in ’83 and he re built it in ’89 to become Tugurium ….won John Pasco Fawkner gold medal by the royal hort society of vic for distinguished services to horticulture…
won 2 scholarships, studied in Britain and NZ ..
Having lunch with Wyndham Garden Club members (which I missed) he said regarding Peter Cundalls signature sign off…
his ‘signature “sign off will come in time and it won’t be manufactured”

The other members who lunched with him told me he is a gentleman and a real sweetheart.

He’s well qualified isn’t he? I hope he has the personality required.
