Anyone know of a website hosting service? Our community radio one has died, was based in the UK and seems to have gone belly-up. An Australian one preferably.

Looked at https://www.hostpapa.com.au

But really I know nothing about this sort of thing.

You have the choice of about a bazillion web host providers.

Which one you choose would depend on the needs of the type of website that you wish to setup – price, web space, monthly bandwidth, email addresses, language support(php, asp, etc), database support (MySQL, etc).

If you need speed then you could opt for a SSD based host. A slower HD based web host will generally be a bit cheaper.

Cloud based SSD hosting is not too expensive.

If you need root access then you might choose a VPS. Cloud based VPS are good value these days.

There are a great number of hosting configurations available.

If you describe your needs in detail then you might get some suggestions.

That site doesn’t look too complex. You should be able to copy your files and database across to a new host and away you go.

You need to see how much room the site is currently occupying and check how much traffic you are currently receiving to ensure that the new host can keep up with the sites demands.
