Ta, I think I knew that and forgot it. There is not a huge amount, but it’s rather obvious on dark blue. I have avoided ironing it in.

Using tape looks OK, as does freezing.

That link suggests ironing, but that’s the last thing I would do. Also, adding WD40 (or similar chemicals) seems wrong.
No one has suggested WB & Dettol.
You people disgust me.

Actually, yes. Years ago I even ironed creases in jeans. Well, the ones I wore to work sometimes. But these ones are really dark blue moleskins. It must be nearly time for creases in pants to come back into fashion. I see people are starting to tuck in blouses again. I won’t be following that trend.
I prefer to hang them by the legs on a windy day and then they don’t need ironing, but it’s not always possible.
I haven’t worn jeans since the 1980s.

Washing machines.. they function better on the days when you put less articles in them.

I haven’t worn denim jeans because I just don’t like them.
I’ve only been overweight since middle age, and only actually fat for the past 5 years or so.

I just have to wonder how many moles have lost their lives just because you are fashion conscious.

Sorry, I wasn’t really having a dig. Though yes, old habits die hard. I’ve found that leg temperatures really matter and I only wear long pants because it is cold enough to at least cover the legs. Otherwise I’d prefer to be in shorts. Fer gawshsakes, women wear skirts and men think they are the tough ones.n Like I think it was Speedy who thought a bit of crust was too heavy to eat, denim can be too heavy to wear.

I only wear shorts in hot weather, around the house. In public I prefer smart, lightweight “business trousers”. Comfortable and they keep their shape, and go well with anything.
I love wearing jeans.
I have about 10 pairs.

Well you are the well dressed one. I’m a bit like Cleve (Rake) in that I’ll turn up to court in the clothes I slept in.

Men’s moleskins are usually just soft, warm cotton trousers of a casual cut, usually chinos style. Don’t have any atm but they’re interchangeable with “business trousers” for a casual look with shirt & blazer.

roffle…
I have 2 pairs of denim jeans.. a good pair and the other ones…
I generally buy a new pair every 12 months or so which then become the good pair, the old good pair become the new other ones and old other ones are then retired… and so the cycle continues…

Moleskins around here are farmers’ pants. Very thick (like very heavy weight denim) cotton, brushed. They last forever. Usually worn in a pale cream colour (when people rode horses in the stock). They wash up brilliantly. Mud and sawdust comes out. They don’t lose their shape any more than denim would. I had a pair once upon a time. But I preferred to save up to buy RM Williams boots rather than moleskins.

You could always try gnawing it off. The freezer woulda killed any germs but you can also spray Dettol on it just to be sure…
