You cannot really see him. But fair dos, it’s not a bad song. He is hard to identify even in the band pictures when you know you are looking at him.

The swimming with the Manatees was pretty cool as well, interesting to see them hanging around the warmer water near the power plant, thought they were all dead when it first showed them before the explanation.

They do seem friendly animals, despite their bad breath.

I was just reading the below, I wonder if a cheap device could be made that boats could carry that emits a high frequency signal that scares them away. Large number are killed by boat strike each year
Manatees hear on a higher frequency than would be expected for such large marine mammals. Many large boats emit very low frequencies, which confuse the manatee and explain their lack of awareness around boats. The Lloyd’s mirror effect results in low frequency propeller sounds not being discernible near the surface, where most accidents occur. Research indicates that when a boat has a higher frequency the manatees rapidly swim away from danger.

It will need to improve for me, I thought it slow moving. His uranium and that program explaining how physics limit living animals were much better IMO.

It was slowish and light on science, but I expect he’s leading into us into heavier stuff as the series unfolds.
I found it relaxing. Apart from those human pyramids which look like serious injuries waiting to happen.

Been good. Thought the trip to Africa to discuss oxygen and iron in the blood was a bit gratuitous, but oh well.

It was a way of introducing the relationship between iron and oxygen in both purely mineral form (red ochre, rust) and its role in blood, and blood’s role in energy distribution etc.
I enjoy those human angles, paints a more holistic pitcher :)
