April 1st? Apparently not.

For an introduction to the angular momentum of light, see https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spin_angular_momentum_of_light

In the following image, the spin angular momentum Jz is equal to the Planck constant h bar.

The spin angular momentum doesn’t occur in plane polarised light, only in the component of light that is circularly polarised.

What effect (if any) will this have on deep space measurements?
