I love winter soltice. I know the days will get longer, and eventually get warmer. I’m sure its all just psychological. The days don’t perceptively get longer for quite a while, and if anything it gets colder still before it gets warmer. But to me 22 June is the turning point of winter.

I hate summer soltice because the opposite is true. I really am a summer girl.
