Older leaves in my lime tree are mottled. Dark green veins, paler flat sections.
It’s not iron because the new leaves look OK. Just the older ones affected.
It appears from my research that manganese is the deficiency.
Any organic methods of adding tthis trace element? Or will it have to be the standard seaweed spray again???

Epsom salts – magnesium sulphate.
buy it in a little packet – even from the bath section of the s/mart.

manganese and magnesium deficiencies are difficult to tell apart, and often occur together.
other people have other experiences to mine…i’ve found that dosing with epsom salts or even a full micro-nutrient solution, provides only short term relief. i’ve had better long term response with compost.
having said that…my new lemon currently in a large pot suffered the yellow leaf mottling and leaf fall, because i overdid sulphur in the potting mix. the ph was 5.5. i added dolomite and it’s coming good.
