Privately Funded Orbiting Telescope. I’d like to see that.
I hope it has a good coronagraph, because it’s going to need one. I still don’t understand why the two possible planets around Alpha Centauri remain in the “we still don’t know” category.
Couldn’t some other telescope do this work? eg. the VLT, LBT or failing that the future space telescopes JWST or Euclid?
