We need a regular science show, with no woo or controversy.

As for the mobile phone health issue, mobile phones only transmit about 5 watts, not enough to cause health problems, it was previously debunked, so why run it, especially when there are so many other science stories, apart from that I thought the reaction was a bit over the top, usual knee jerk reaction..

I don’t like having a mobile phone up against my head for too long, it’s not just near field radiation it’s very near near field. Burns me ear anyway, which is both TX energy and probably losses in output devices.

Catalyst has always been of variable quality. Many episodes have been excellent. Just as many episodes have been rubbish. And there’s never been a way to distinguish which is which in advance. The timing has been bad over the past few years as well, timed opposite some better program.
