Subject: Deleting emails

I’ve put this in the FFFS tech section, but someone here might have an answer:

Mr buffy has a Sony smart phone. If he deletes emails at the phone, they disappear from the computer as well. If he deletes at the computer, they are still on the phone. So the phone must be deleting at the server? How do we change this so deleting at the phone does not delete at the computer?

There’ll be a setting in the ‘accounts’ part of the email program on the phone, it’ll say something like ‘delete from server’ or similar, untick or unselect that option.

Yes as poikilotherm says, probably a few menus in under account settings

I can only get emails on desktop, I can’t access any emails from Android.
