Subject: Skymuster Satellite

I know a few on here use satellite as their internet connection. Is it the new Skymuster one? Works OK (considering it’s satellite) but mine takes for ever to connect when turning it on. Was originally 30 – 45 minutes, but they tell me it’s “fixed” now, and takes at least 10 mins, sometimes 15 to connect now. How long does your Skymuster take to connect when you turn it on?

I try and tickle it’s fancy every now and then. :)

It takes a few minutes here. If I think it’s a bit tardy I right click on the system tray network icon then tell the menubox to troubleshoot problems. It resets the Ethernet & I’m then connected.

I connect okay. Mostly it is so much better. I am switching the modem on and off a lot more than before due to a ‘hang’ type fault where it seems connected but it isn’t doing anything.
