I don’t want to bash religion but America’s Vice President is a creationist.

From a pure scientific point of view, Creationism is Misinformation isn’t it, it doesn’t hold up to any empirical observations.

When you reduce creationism to its fundamental, it is nothing more than misinformation.

Teaching misinformation in schools is criminal and is a blatant waste of time.

Having a Vice President with an agenda of teaching misinformation makes him unfit for office.

Creationism is Misinformation.

Creationism is Misinformation.

It has been going on since forever and most of the kids leave school and forget all about it.

That the only ones who keep going on about it are nutcases, should show that eventually the practice will fade away.

How much of religious doctrine is misinformation?

You would have to measure each religion

Ill start with Scientology

it has 100 percent content of misinformation

Most or all of the tales in the bible don’t actually match any real timelines in history.

If they were all made up, that would explain it.

Why should I be tolerant of a Vice President with a creationist agenda, teaching misinformation that makes him unfit for office.

The Incoming President is also unfit for office, I’m not tolerant of him either.

Teaching Creationism is criminal.

Creationism is Misinformation.

There is no way I’m ever going to be tolerant of those two.

Ever!

All my Sunday school teachings I knew to be story telling.

I mentally binned a lot of stuff, and just belittled the teacher in my mind when something resembled bullshit was said

All that time could have been more educational

I would have preferred just being by myself

Trump to scrap Nasa climate research in crackdown on ‘politicized science’

Politicizing science is unethical, non logical and criminal.

Science is about Nature, empirical observations and facts.

Religious politicians live in some fantasist world of made up spaces and stories

all that MUST affect their rational thinking processes

and we end up with erroneous law

I’m not tolerant of erroneous law

I started reading this last night:

http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/28881.Lamb

If you want a sort of weird take on the life of Christ -Joshua in this book, and Biff, his best friend has not idea what the H in Jesus H. Christ meant – try this book. I found it very difficult to put down and read for much longer than I intended to do. Bravo for any religion that can induce this sort of hilarity.

I think that basically no one here would think that there is a place in schools for religion or creationism, so you are somewhat preaching to the choir.

I think that there may be limited scope for Creationism being taught in school as a part of religious doctrine.
